Stayed for a great weekend break. Nice swimming pool. Kailyard restaurant was excellent. Drink prices a bit steep but bearable. Staff were all friendly and very helpful.
Lovely hotel & staff. Some areas looking a bit "shabby" ( corridors). We had 2 course evening meal which was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious, plenty hot & cold breakfast choices.
Long established but well maintained.everything worked.gained entry early well done. 4pm check in is just wrong.restaurant much improved from last visit.bar well overpriced. Very comfortable bed mattress.No shower gel. Fresh cookie on arrival is a nice touch.
Terrific stay as usual, staff as attentive an helpful as usual. We just love this place.Always better to book a Premier room it's worth it.
Don't leave any valuables in your room!!Got a lovely new Jo Malone perfume for Christmas and in my rush to check out left it in the bathroom. Immediately called to let them know. Left message with housekeeping. No call back. Called again. Eventually told nothing has been "logged". No offer to investigate further. No confirmation that the maid was spoken to. Just "nothing logged in a book". Really disgusting behaviour and not the first instance of theft from rooms based on other reviews. Be warned. I wouldn't stay again. Not in a hotel where expensive items just disappear apparently.
